These are the hosting rules for every public party listing on Palia Party. When you create or update a party, it is automatically checked against these rules — if something doesn't comply, you'll receive a warning that references the rule number and name below. Private and community-only parties are not checked.
Content Moderation — The party name and description must not contain inappropriate, spam, or toxic content. This includes gibberish or random-character text, advertising, and hostile language.
In-Game Activity — Parties must be tied to an actual Palia in-game activity, such as cooking, fishing, bug catching, mining, foraging, hunting, gardening, or furniture making. Custom activities are allowed as long as they relate to something doable in-game. The main activity is what you select in the party's activity settings — not the party title.
Giveaways — Giveaways are allowed, but must be tied to an actual in-game activity (e.g. giving away in-game items, plushies, or resources), not an external service. A giveaway can be the activity itself if the description explains what in-game activity it involves, or it can accompany another in-game activity (e.g. a plushie giveaway after a cooking party). A standalone giveaway with no in-game context is not allowed. Giveaways in The Underground are allowed if the description says so. Optional perks (e.g. "everyone who stays until the end gets a plushie — you must be a Verified member in our Discord to claim") are fine as long as the main activity is open to everyone.
Multi-Party Listings — Parties must be centered on a specific in-game activity that users can participate in during the party's designated time (start and end). Mentioning a recurring series (e.g. "Join us every Monday") or other parties as context is fine, but a listing that is merely a schedule of dates and times without any participatory activity is not allowed.
External Links — External links are permitted, but cannot be the sole purpose of the party. Parties that exist only for recruitment or only for giveaways (without an in-game activity) are not allowed.
Discord Sign-Up Requirement — If the party requires users to join a Discord or sign up via Discord to participate (including joining Discord voice chat to follow the activity), the party must be set up with proper External Sign-up. All three steps must be completed:
Writing a Discord link in the description is not a substitute for the External sign-up link field. Merely mentioning a Discord link, inviting people to your community, or offering optional perks for joining (e.g. "join our Discord for a welcome gift") is fine and does not require this setup.
External Links in the Description — Actual URLs written in the description may be suggested, but must never be presented as required to participate. Links in the designated fields (Community External link, External sign-up link) are always fine. Mentioning a community by name without a URL is not a link.
Voice Chat — Requiring participants to join a Discord voice channel is not allowed when the party has open sign-ups (sign-ups here on the platform). It is allowed if the party has an External Sign-up link configured (rule 6). Offering an optional voice channel is fine.
Twitch — Requiring people to join Twitch to participate is not allowed. You may only encourage people to join the stream (e.g. "the party will be live on Twitch — feel free to watch along").
If you believe a warning is incorrect, you can submit the party again to bypass it. Bypassing correct warnings may lead to suspensions. If you keep receiving a warning you believe is wrong, please reach out via the (requires being signed in).
