Site Feature: Painted Map Areas

The Painted Map Areas feature provides a powerful way to draw, highlight, and visually communicate large zones of interest on the interactive map, perfect for complex resource gathering or strategic planning.
Key Uses
- Coordinate Group Effort: When shared with a party, these areas quickly show where each group member should focus their efforts.
- Define Resource Routes: Outline full paths for mining circuits or foraging runs, making efficient travel planning clear.
How It Works
- Only Party Hosts: Only the party host can activate Paint Mode and paint on the map.
- Select Color: Choose a color from a select color palette to easily distinguish the area's purpose.
- Clear Map: The party host can clear the map to start over, removing all painted areas.
- Remove Colors: The party host can remove colors from specific areas using the ereaser tool.
- Switch Cursor: Once painted, switch the cursor to the default cursor to normally interact with the map.
- Single Color Layer: Painted areas are painted on a single layer, so new colors will override the previously placed color at the same position, helping to reduce clutter on the map.
